The internet has done so much for us. We are able to connect with people, look for anything that interests us like various things for example Eden Prairie music school, Bible, rock music, e-books and everything you have in mind. One of the outcomes of internet is a virtual workplace. A virtual workplace is a workspace that is not located in any physical space. This is where several workers are connected technologically (with the use of computers and the internet) without really any regard to geographic boundaries. There are a lot of companies that encourage their employees to work in the safety of their home or while on the road. This has become a trend to any company and is thought to accelerate because of the ongoing globalization, the demands of the customers, and also the costs of space and commuting. The virtual workplace is established to make it convenient for employees to work from home, even across the country or even any part of the world. Technology has made it easier for anyone to earn money and to provide great service.

These below are some of the features of a virtual workplace:

Flexible offices

New office structures happen in web organizations. This is where workstations and meeting rooms in close-by hotels are being utilized. By utilizing this technique, supervisors can concentrate less on the workplace and more on the client. Some companies have a few thousand workers sharing an assortment of office spaces around the world. Some BPOs are also in local locations, offering more technology than a manager has at home, witha very minimum driving time, while expanding productivity, profitability and time.

Spending a lot of time in a similar occupation for a very long time can be very draining for some. Because there’s a very little work showcase, potential supervisors will go out on a limb to not get bored of the same job. Managers would rather begin their own particular organization and work self-employed, than have the micromanagement of a major organization. Truth be told, any person with a cell phone and Internet association can begin a worldwide organization, wherever in the world.

Connections of employees

Communication won’t happen when you’re working separately or only just do video conferencing. Working separately may bring about nerves as far as execution and assessment. This is most of the time what employees and employers are afraid of- miscommunication. But some companies try really hard to enhance the connectedness of representatives, some web organizations with solid relationship organize government offices with common shares, covering board positions, trade of workers and data, and a focal position of the bank.

Shared values

It is exceptional to see that some web companies are beginning a way to engage employees to make a great rapport.  The center issue confronted by most web companies is not an absence of culture because of the dynamics of their work; but it’s an excessive amount of culture. Because of the state of their work, they tend to share values that are usually developed by their leaders. And also because of the clashing of these culture, we see a very dynamic work field. When these values are adopted by the other members of the company, they get to accomplish, understand and deliver their goal.

The Civil Society to Technological Society

Writers like Locke and Rousseau used the name “civil society” in order to define the civil government that has made distinction from the natural state or the natural society. Marxism was derived from Hegel. In a bourgeois society or a hegel civil the people who left their families just compete economically, are compared to the state or political society. Karl Marx who coined Marxism critically assessed Hegel using the concept of a civil society. It is used as a benchmark to measure the change from feudal to the hegel civil or bourgeois society. Marx opted from the fall of the medieval times as civil society rose.

In order for people not to be separated in a civic realm, they became part of different societies like estates or guilds that possess a political role. The person or individual became more important as those societies fell and as the civil society came to life. Selfish needs of the quantum people took the place of the bonds that were privileged a long time ago, this was separated from each other and the community as a whole.

The conflicting nature of a civil society needs a particular kind of politics that does not show or highlight this conflict but rather, it is cancelled from it including its property relations. Through the many characteristics of a civil society, the modern state is put in importance but, still limited. The control or power of the state is limited only to the formal negative acts and it is non functional by the problem which makes sense of the economic life, the civil society’s fragmentation and misery escapes through this.

The civil identity and their role in the productiveness is cut off from their political identity as individuals in a modern society. Compared to Marx, Gramsci argues that the term should really be used in order to pertain to private and non private groups, still, with the economy. He also insisted on how complex and difficult their organization is as a group where supremacy and the unprompted consents are put together.

Laissez faire is still methodological even if it is a rule of non intervention because it is made by the state itself therefore the distinction of civil society and the state is also methodological. To protect the state, a well developed civil society is compared to a trench that is very able to defy the infiltrations of different crises. There is an inter relationship between the state and the civil society according to Gramsci but Marx is insisting that the civil society and the state should be separated from each other.

The corrosive state equipment’s solidify the hegemony that is happening on the dominant class and the government which is also conceived as state is guarded by the hegemony inside a very organized society. The democratic line that lies between the state and the civil society should not be equalized or identified in any actual society, as what Gramsci is arguing. But, he is warning everyone against securing the worship of the state even if he is developing or accepting a role for the state inside a civil society.

Now, there is a big transition from civil society to technological society; which we are experiencing in 21st century. The issues that civil society address is still existent; but more voices are heard and it’s just not the government and critic’s world anymore since every people has the chance to say their opinion in the advents of media.

A Society in the World of Technology

Sociologist says, a society is a group of people that has a common territory or land, interaction or communication or culture. Social groups can consist of two people or more who can interact with each other.

There are a lot of countries that has boundaries and territories that the world also recognized. But, the boundary of the society does not really have to be geopolitical borders just like the borders in Canada and in the United States of America. Nonmembers and members must really recognize a territory as theirs to the society.  These countries are called a society because of this territory because this is a very important characteristic of a society.

Hence, countries have to set boundaries that are legal and exact so that the other members who do not belong to that country can refer to it. Now, in terms of technology; these territories are now virtually seen through Google Maps. Countries are now more familiar and we are able to have vicarious experiences while just looking at the pictures in our screens.

The members of the societies must really come in contact with each other because if a group that it within a country that does not have regular contact with another group and these particular groups are not considered as part of the same society. The geographic distance and language barriers or misunderstanding can be a basis for separation of the societies in a country.

A society cannot function very well when the members and non members will not interact well with each other. Here we can prove that communication is really the key. It is very important because it promotes good relationship with each countries and therefore, creating a greater whole. This interaction is now of course improved by technology. Because of the genius of programming, countries and their people are able to interact with each other.

The people that are inside a similar society are sharing many aspects of their culture like language or their beliefs such as religion. The culture here is defined through the values, behavior, material objects and language that make up a part of the way of life of the people. It is also defining the society therefore it must also be valued. Culture, even in these recent times, is still something that we should preserve and take care. Culture is also an important element that could make up the whole.

There are different parts that make a whole society that should be taken care of. Without these things, it could never be a society that is developed. This is why people are also a big part of the society because they help in taking care of these important elements. Without the people, it will all be impossible.

The people are helping the society to be whole. Culture, territory and interaction are elements that can be flourished with the intelligence and help of the people. First and foremost, these elements are nearly impossible to happen without the people that make a society whole. They are the ones making sure that these things will be possible in order to promote a good society. A good society is a society is a place where individuals are living together in harmony with good interaction with each other, a legal territory and a wide culture that can promote a healthy living within the people.
